Watch out for weaponed enemies from the hot-seat of your own bomber plane in the client-based online game Heroes in the Sky. Flying high in the virtual skies, players fight each other, using missiles, machine guns and bombs to wipe out their opponents. The MMOTPS (massively multiplayer online third person shooter) takes you back in time to World War II, reliving specific realistic battles.
In Heroes in the Sky (or: HIS) there are quite a few different game modes for you to try out. These include solo or team missions, Player-versus-Player (PvP) as well as Player-versus-Environment (PvE) modes. You fight fierce battles against waves if enemy pilots. There are always new challenges and opportunities to bring down hostile pilots. You gain experience and increase your level by completing missions. Just never lose sight of the chance to win the war and earn honor and glory.
There are more than 50 plane types which belong to 5 different categories: Fighters, Gunners, Bombers, Premiums and Avatars. The more experience you gather in Heroes in the Sky, the more plane types you are free to use. The Fighters are the most common, and are used at the frontline of battle. The Gunners are used as support planes, blasting the enemies with endless ammunition. The Bombers provide ground leveling support and its large hulk can contain numerous bombs. The Premiums are customizable and represent real planes used in WWII. Finally, the Avatars can change appearance, whilst maintaining all the features.
Choose your preferred plane, build up a fleet and head to war.
As you earn victories in Heroes in the Sky, you can use the rewards to upgrade your plane, adding weaponry, ammunition and additional features.
